See Auschwitz from a different angle with the help of drone footage
It has been over 70 years since the liberation of Auschwitz and due to the difficult history surrounding the camp not much coverage of the actual facility has taken place. For one of the first times Auschwitz was covered via drone footage this year. In this video we can see the camp as it has never been seen before.
Seeing the footage is absolutely chilling and through the course of the film clip we follow the railway tracks that would have lead prisoners into the camp as well as the barracks where many would have been housed.
Over 1 million people died within the walls of the camp and the site was divided into a labor camp and execution camp. Most of the buildings have been taken down but you can still see many of the original buildings from the air as well as the surrounding area.
